What is Craps?
Craps is a casino game, in which you make bets on the outcome of the dice. There are several variants of this casino game, but the traditional ones enjoy the highest popularity. In Craps you can play either against other players or against the casino. The origins of the game go down to first French gamblers and the initial variant of this game was known even in prehistoric times. It’s a table game, as it requires the space to place your bets and to throw the ball.

If you are going to play against the casino, you have to keep in mind the following things. Each casino sets its own payouts for different bets, so study the rules of the casino you are going to play at to know what winning you may count on. The person who is throwing the dice is called “the shooter” and the players throw the dice in turns.

You can wager on different outcomes of the dice. The most common types of bets in Craps are: line bets, single roll bets, multi-roll bets and fire bets. I’ll describe all the types of Craps bets in detail in my next post. Craps is a rather difficult casino table games, as this no correlation between the dice rolls, so it’s absolutely impossible to work out a universal Craps strategy.
