Craps Bets Types

Fire bet. This bet is placed before the first shooter throws the ball. The size of the bet is only one dollar, but the payout can be really amazing, as the 4th point pays at 24-to-1, the 5th – at 249-to-1 and the 6th – at 999-to-1.

Line bets. Line bets include these types of bets:

  • Pass line bet. This is the bet a player makes to win their point number.
  • Don’t pass line bet. The bet on the probability that the shooter won’t win their point number. You lose if the come-out roll is 7 or 11 and win if the come-out roll is 2 or 3.
  • Come bet. It’s played in 2 rounds and is similar to the pass line bet, as you bet on the number the shooter will get in the next round.
  • Don’t come bet. I don’t have to say that don’t come bet is played in 2 round too. You win if the outcome of the roll is 2 or 3 and lose if it’s 7.
  • Pass odds
  • And you are right – don’t pass odds.

The detailed information about all the types of bets you can find in the glossary of our site, which will have a full set of Craps terms.

One of the most interesting types of Craps bets is multiple bets. They presuppose that you bet not only on one throw, but you may have to wait for some time before the necessary point comes put. In this types of bets you can buy points. Such a bet is called place-and-buy bet.  It pays out a bit worse that other types of Craps bets.
